Cbeyond's Dave Wallace Named a Finalist for PHONE+ Channel Executive of the Year

(NASDAQ: CBEY), a leading IP-based managed services provider to small businesses, is pleased to announce Dave Wallace has been selected as a Channel Executive of the Year finalist by PHONE+ magazine. The nine finalists and Channel Executive of the Year winner were honored during the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, March 10-12, in Las Vegas. In addition, Wallace will be featured as a finalist in the April issue of PHONE+.
Wallace, vice president of channel sales for Cbeyond, is responsible for leading the channel initiative within Cbeyond. To date, Cbeyond boasts more than 2,500 channel partners and recently finalized a partnership with Tech Data to increase the number of Cbeyond channel partners in the United States.

PHONE+ solicited nominations from channel partners for this honor. To be eligible, a nominee must have been the top person in the company's channel operations - at the executive level of vice president or higher. Channel partners were then asked to vote for the Channel Executive of the Year based on nominees' leadership, longevity, innovation and contribution to the indirect channel. PHONE+ received more than 30 nominations and more than 500 valid channel partner votes and 10 finalists emerged for the Channel Executive of the Year 2008.
